After earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theater Arts from the University of the Philippines in Diliman, she went full throttle into professional theater, doing ensemble work in musical productions in English and Tagalog, and working with different theater companies. As a measure of her talent, as well as her commitment and professionalism, Hazel has also been given the opportunity to do minor or secondary roles in many productions that she's done ensemble work for. As such, while she has done ensemble work for Dulaang UP's "The Silent Soprano," Resorts World Manila's "Bituing Walang Ningning," and Tanghalang Pilipino's "Banaag At Sikat," "Noli Me Tangere," and "Walang Sugat."
Hazel has done more productions where she was part of the ensemble and the supporting cast. These include: "Ang Kababaihan ng Malolos" (Filomena Tiongson), "Orosman at Zafira" (Zelima), and "Atang: Isang Dulang may Musika" (Iveng) for Dulaang UP; "Peter Pan" (Tiger Lily understudy) for Kids Acts Philippines; "The Sound of Music" (Nun) for Resorts World Manila; and "Ibalong" (Onglo / Buwaya), "Sandosenang Sapatos" (Diwata / Nanay / Ate), "Kleptomaniacs" (Mare), and "Mabining Mandirigma" as (Mabini Understudy / Taft) for Tanghalang Pilipino.
Hazel was also part of the touring cast of Tanghalang Pilipino's "Sandosenang Sapatos" for the Beijing Theater Olympics in 2014, and worked as part of the ensemble of "Singapura: The Musical" (4th Wall Theater Company) which was staged in Singapore in 2015.
She played the lead role of Oryol in the restaging of "Ibalong" at the 2016 Ibalong Festival in Bicol, and the lead role of Mabini in the 3rd run of Tanghalang Pilipino's Mabining Mandirigma in December 2016. She was also priviledged to be one of the singing chorus for the Cultural Center of the Philippines' 45th Anniversary "MUSIKAL!", which featured outstanding original Filipino musicals in 2014. Where her years of diligence seem to be finally paying off, Hazel continues to hone her craft, participating in a 2016 Workshop on Vocal Production and Interpretation for Live Stage Performance at the Cultural Center of the Philippines with resource person Carmela Sinco. She is also a freelance musical theater teacher for kids, arguably the best measure of one's patience and persistence.
is a composer from the Philippines. He graduated with a degree in Music Composition from the University of the Philippines - Diliman, College of Music. His works have been performed in various stages, including in the Cultural Center of the Philippines (2016). Some of his works include "Ang Bayang Nakaluksa (A Nation in Mourning)" (2019), "O Fortuna 500" (2020), "Ama Namin (Our Father)" (2016), and "Gunita (Commemoration)" (2018). He serves as a secretariat member of the Asian Composers League, Philippines Inc., and is an almunus of the University of the Philippines Composers of New Music (UP CONEMUS). He also likes to learn about other music cultures, with flamenco music currently among his interests. On occasion, he is also a pianist, arranger, transcriber, and a film scorer.
A native of Sampaloc Manila, Ms. Katherine finished her degree in Bachelor of Science in Business Administration Major in Economics and Master of Arts in Economics (Undergrad). at the University of Santo Tomas. She exhibits many talents in performing arts and teaches ballet, Jazz, Hip hop, contemporary, cheerleading and gymnastics. She displays a remarkable talent in dancing and choreographing. She has won famous cheerleading competitions and performed in numerous corporate events. Ms. Katherine is an active member of Filipino-Chinese Theater Dance Company and Ellipsis Collaboration of Arts. She speaks 3 languages (Tagalog, English and Chinese)
Diana is a freelance actress for film, TV and Stage; a TV and print ad model, voice talent, drama and art teacher; Production Manager and director for events and theater shows. She has directed for companies like PAGCOR, MPTC, SM Malls, TRUMPETS Playshop, Moviestarscafe, WDMC events, among others.
She started theater in 1997 after graduating from college. In 1999, she joined the CCP Tanghalang Pilipino Actors’ Company under Nonon Padilla. She has worked with other theater companies such as PETA, Gantimpala Theater foundation, Musikat, Resorts World, UPCIS, among others. She has performed in a wide array of plays, as varied as Shakespeare to Moliere, Farcical to Drama, Brecht to Comedia del’ arte, Broadway to Filipino Musicals, Noh dance to Komedya.
As a visual artist, she started painting in January 2016 when she enrolled in Mr. Fernando Sena's art workshop. She is currently a member of the Philippine Pastel Artists and the Portrait Artists Society of the Philippines art group, an art group founded by Mr. Romulo Galicano. after graduating from college with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science.
Her latest group art exhibit was under PASPI entitled Kalinaw at Galerie Roberto and in Portrait of Nature 2 held at the Art Center in SM Megamall. She was part of the Art Tabang exhibit held in Cebu City, Manila Art 2019 and PASPI's Portrait of Nature exhibit. She was also part of the Artist's Hands: From Stage to Canvas Exhibit which was held in Solaire Resorts and Casino with other colleagues in the theatre and TV who also dabbles in painting. She was also part of SANGBALIKAT, a group exhibit with other visual artists headed by Mr. Fernando Sena. Other Art Group exhibit includes Si Dayang: Sa makabagong panahon, Philippine Pastel Artist's PEINDRE, My Name is Asher Lev Art Exhibit, Isang Daang Babae: Isang Daang Obra, among others.
Kim is a conductor, composer, pianist, and collaborating artist. He studied Bachelor of Music, Major in Music Education - St. Paul University, Manila and Bachelor of Music Major in Music Performance - Pamantasan Lungsod ng Maynila. He Collaborated with PLM and CEU music majors, PLM chorale, church choirs and and community choirs. A Studio Piano, Drums and Guitar Teacher, Session Musician (Keys, Drums and Guitar).
Born in Seoul, Korea, Ms. Hyun Joo Lee began her piano lessons at five years old, launching her musical career and winning several piano competitions at an early age. When her family moved to the Philippines in 1986, Ms. Lee continued her studies with pianists Ai Ja Lee and Ingrid Sala Santamaria. She later attended high school at the International School Manila where she won prizes in competitions held in the USA, Taipei, Kaula Lumpur, and Manila.
In 1997, she received her Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance degree from the Oberlin Conservatory of Music as a pupil of Lydia Frumkin and Prof. Mogilevsky. She then went to the University of Southern California where she studied under Kevin Fitz-Gerald for a year. Ms. Lee earned her Master of Music degree in Piano Performance at the University of the Philippines College of Music under pianist Jovianney Emmanuel Cruz.
Ms. Lee has performed several solo and chamber music recitals all over the world. This includes the Summer Music Festival in Urbania, Italy (1994); the International Music Festival in Moscow, Russia (1996); the International Piano Festival in Spain (2000); and the Laurentides Music Camp in Quebec (2000) where she was acquainted with many world-renowned pianists. She also performed in clarinet festivals in New Orleans, U.S.A, Brisbane, Australia, and Seoul, Korea. She later served as a faculty member of Seo Kyung University and Baek Seok Conservatory.
Ms. Lee is currently based in Manila, Philippines and has since expanded her musicianship to numerous capacities. She is the Co-Founder and Co-Artistic Director of the Clarion Chamber Ensemble. Since its founding in 2002, she has been hands-on in its production of over 50 chamber music concerts in the Philippines. More recently in 2019, she became a board member of the Piano Teachers' Guild of the Philippines Foundation, Inc. (PTGPFI).
She has long been a proponent of holistic learning and arts education as well. This commitment led her to the academe. Ms. Lee is the founder and director of the Clarion School of Performing Arts and the Little Clarion Montessori School. She is currently a candidate of Ph.D. in Educational Leadership and Management Degree at De La Salle University.
Ms. Lee now brings her advocacies together at a larger scale through public service. She served as a council member for the National Unification Council of Republic of Korea, and the President of the Korean Women’s Association in the Philippines, Director of Korean Chamber of Commerce in the Philippines. In the past years, she spearheaded classical concerts and competitions for the youth and audience in Manila, including the FILKOR Youth Orchestra and the FILKOR Youth Concerto Competition.
Ms. Hyun Joo Lee continues to devote herself to her causes and roles as a mother, musician, educator, and servant leader.
